About Baked with Joy

Our Story

Manya Grover is currently a senior in high school. She is passionate about baking and started Baked with Joy in April 2021 to put her free time to a good cause. Over the years, she has collaborated with different organizations like DSANV, Annasudha Community Kitchens, No Kid Hungry, Pimmit Hills Senior Center, etc. She plans to continue Baked with Joy and expand it to other cities and states via partnerships with other high school students with a similar passion.

Our Mission

At Baked with Joy, we believe that a small act of kindness can make a big difference. Our mission is to:

  • Provide Comfort and Joy: We create and sell homemade baked goods to individuals and families through bake sales and donate 100% of the collected funds to charities.
  • Support other Charitable organizations: By partnering with local businesses and charity groups, we strengthen our community ties and extend our reach to those who need it most.
  • Promote Baking as Therapy: We offer baking workshops and events that emphasize the therapeutic benefits of baking, fostering a sense of accomplishment and joy among participants.

Our Impact

Since our founding, Baked with Joy has:

  • Delivered over 250 baked goods to about 10 local charities and shelters.
  • Raised about $9000 dollars through our fundraising events, directly supporting our mission.
